Community guidelines

How we keep Ghana Global healthy

One community, many countries. These rules apply everywhere on the platform — the feed, communities, collaborations and private chats.

Treat every member like family

We are one people across many borders. Disagree with ideas, never demean the person. No insults, tribalism, or hate speech of any kind.

Keep it real, keep it safe

No scams, fake investment schemes, pyramid offers, or requests for money from members you just met. Report anything that smells wrong.

Collaboration over self-promotion

Share opportunities, skills and wins. Repetitive advertising, bulk DMs and link spam get removed.

Protect people's privacy

Never share another member's phone number, address, documents or private messages without their clear permission.

Nothing illegal or explicit

No sexual content, no threats or violence, no trafficking of visas, documents or people. This is enforced without warning.

Invite only — vouch carefully

You can only join Ghana Global through a member's invite link, and we record who referred whom. Invite people you'd personally vouch for; bad invites reflect on you.

Know how your content is used

You keep ownership of what you post, but by posting you licence Ghana Global to host, analyse, publish and build on it. Read the privacy policy and terms before you share anything sensitive.

Slow down and listen

Rapid-fire messaging is rate limited so conversations stay readable. Say it once, say it well.

Chat safety controls

  • Members can send up to 20 messages a minute. Going faster is blocked automatically to stop flooding and bulk spam.
  • Messages containing words on our banned-words list are blocked before they are ever delivered. Moderators keep that list up to date.
  • Every conversation, post and member profile has a report action. Reports are private and reviewed by the platform owner and moderators.
  • Repeat offenders lose access. Serious cases — threats, trafficking, fraud — are removed immediately.
